The art of going with the flow!

I met Marcus Crane of McCully & Crane at his large oak desk, sitting in the centre of the gallery. We were surrounded by the skilfully curated works of the artists he represents.

Set amongst 70 acres of rolling hills and woodlands with views along the Tillingham River valley, across to the ancient town of Rye and beyond. Where we meet Ben Walgate, the man behind Tillingham.

We meet Jeff, the landlord of the Ypres Castle Inn, for a chinwag in the pub’s beer garden. It’s a sunny yet chilly morning.

We meet Paul Goring, a man who has worn many hats: Toastmaster, Tour Guide, Publican, Accountant, Town Sergeant and Rye’s very own Town Crier.

I’ll be honest with you, I met Mark from The Green House at the Ypres Castle Inn beer garden and not his plant shop, I can confirm that he is a first class drinking buddy.
