Children's Book by Rye Authors

A Song for the Ocean is a new children’s picture book by local illustrator Oliver Brooks.

Lucy is the only female in her family who has no magical powers when playing music. Her parents use her mother’s hypnotic flute song to catch fish and after a bout of overfishing, the Ocean drowns them in anger. Armed only with her violin, Lucy travels to confront the Ocean and save her parents.
